Big 12 Championship Game Question

Oklahoma wouldn't factor in. I did hear someone say once that they thought ties actually got decided alphabetically sometimes. I didnt take it seriously, but maybe he was on to something. EA may very well decide things like that, I would not put it past them.

i don't think it's like that(at least not all the time), at least it's not for the MAC. i was Temple, tied with Bowling Green with a 6-2 conference record.. i had the head-to-head tie-breaker and went to the championship game. Bowling Green even had the better overall record with a 10-2 record, to my 7-5.

I think I had a few tie records in the South as Texas Tech, but i don't remember all the records and stuff.

I had a similar problem. I am Illinois and my friend is Iowa. We did not play each other this season and both finished 11-1 (7-1). My loss was to the 10-2 (6-2) Michigan Wolverines, who also lost to Iowa. His loss was to the 9-3 (5-3) Wisconsin Badgers, who I beat.

At the end of the season, I was ranked #4 BCS and he was #6 BCS. However, he got the Big 10 Championship trophy in dynasty and his team facts sheet says he won a Big 10 Championship this season (mine doesn't). BUT... the scroll at the bottom of the screen reads "Illinois wins the 2011 Big 10 Championship". And I got the Rose Bowl bid while he got shunted to the Sugar Bowl. However he did play in the Rose Bowl last year so maybe it uses the real Big 10 rule of who hasn't been there the longest. Anyways, we decided to call it a split conference championship.
