Smart Routes/Reciever Spotlight

I really enjoyed these two gameplay features in Madden last year. I haven't seen anything about them being implemented in NCAA 10, but I think they would be really nice additions.

For those of us who didn't play Madden *raises hand, haven't purchased the game in a long time*....

What are smart routes? Different from option routes, I'd assume?

They take your route and automatically extend it to the necessary length that would give you a first down, if that makes sense. Very useful seeing as the hot routes are rather limiting, particularly on third down.

Peench, smart routes are actually in 09. They don't seem to work as well as they do in Madden but it is a feature that it is in NCAA already. Receiver spotlight is not however. I would definitely love to see it though. Could have used it in 09 against you and your man crush on Crabtree in our Big XII OD.

Yeah, to do a smart routek, you audible do the hot route then instead of picking a route you just hit RB, I believe.... Works with many of the pre-existing routes and most of the hot routes. So you can do a hot route then change THAT to a smart distance route or whatever you wanna call it.
