How important is his to you guys? Do you think EA will include it in this year's offline dynasty? How cool would it be to see SEC coaches shuffled around through firings and hirings?

It would be cool, but i don't see it happening. I'd also like to see coaches name.

if they could get it anywhere near how College Hoops 2k8 did theirs, it would be great.

How did College Hoops 2k8 do theirs? It seems like they already have laid the groundwork with the coaches' contracts and the fact that you can (theoretically) get fired and you can quit your job and go to another school. I always thought that they would eventually develop off this system and do something with it. Kind of strange that they haven't.

I wish they would have a coaching carousel.... Dont think it will be there for '10.

man, i wish they would implement some sort of coaching tree into ncaa. there are so many things you could do from it.

you could use that as you're way to set up your base formations. like if you want to run a 3-4, you find a d-coord coach has a preferred base 3-4 system, or 4-3, or 3-3-5, etc. or the same could be done with an o-coord with pro/spread/west coast/option/etc.

you could assign him values with things like if he like to blitz vs play straight up, or zone v man, run/pass, etc. and it could provide a boost to those type plays that he likes and is good at and a dent those that he's not so good at.

he could also have values about if he is a good teacher or good recruiter or even motivator. if he was a good teacher, he would help with progressions throughout the year and in the off-season. a good recruiter gives you more of a chance of closing on that recruit when he visits. a good motivator could give your team a small boost before big games. and you could weight them against each other, making you have to pick and choose who you would want to hire.

but you could also allow cpu/other users to hire him away if you're killing it.

i wouldnt want to go full coaching staffs, cuz that would take way too much time and disk space, but 2 spots would be bad, ocoord and dcoord, and maybe a 3rd like sp teams coach or something.
