Any news on the defensive AI?

Because I shouldnt be forced to play 90% man vs the cpu teams. Especially teams with lesser WRs and an inferior line and QB. But when I play zone half of the time Im wondering why my DBs are just standing there. I realize that the guys in zones are watching the QBs eyes, but I played FS in high school and in a cover two if it was a guy coming across the middle I would shadow the post route to shield it off and the rover (outside linebacker) would drop back a few more yards to shadow the streak. Pre-snap, if my safety is at the 40 I dont want him at the other 40 at the end of the play. No safety drops back 20 yards, or even has time to drop back into coverage that far during a 3 step drop

And the spy works better for picks than a buzz zone even if its in the same area which doesnt make any sense. My lineback shouldnt be trying to find what area his zone is on when the QB is throwing the ball. He should either be breaking toward the ball to attempt a deflection or get to where the ball is going to attempt to pursue the wide out. But noooo, my linebacker just stands there then makes an ugly break after the catch.

And we're not even gonna talk about curls...

Re: Any news on the defensive AI?

Are you really asking? Call it a hunch, but I'm guessing you're around here enough to know if there was any news - seeing as how you start half the threads on this board. I kid, but still... seriously.. Anyway, you played more football than me and so I'm sure you know what you're talking about, but I still think a lot of the problems could be solved by simply making the offensive players react more realistically to balls that were slightly off target (i.e. not doing a 180 and easily catching a pass that was thrown at 70 MPH right at their arse cheek even though they were running at full speed). I think the zones, and man, are pretty good if they'd just fix the player momentum.
