My CAS Info

ISBN Reports:The Boston Skyhawks are a brand new School/College that will be taking a spot in the Western Alantic Conference(WAC) this upcoming season on NCAA 2010.

This school is in it's first year in D-1 football, no one is expecting them to be much in their first year but don't count out Coach Jeffery Phillips. He was interviewed along with about 40 to 50 other coaches up and down the east coast, for the coaching job at Boston. He is 32 years old and has been coaching since age 23. He has been an offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator, so he has a big spot for the game in him.

He and his other staff memebers have been recruting hard since he took the job, needless to say they have not done a bad job at all with it. He has gotten commits from 5 top prospects. Here is his Offensive and Defensive starters as standing through srping practice.

Coach Phillips, How has taking on a new team and head coaching job affected you?

Phillips: It's not, I Love to coach and it's been a pleasure to go out and get the guys I have so far. They are like children of my own, I appreciate the hard work and dedication they have put in for the team. We still have a few spots to fill in, but it all comes with time and effort.

Phillips would later say as well that himself and the school have put out designs for the skyhawks logo and team uniforms.

This could be the beginning of a huge turn around for the city of Boston Mass.

Coach Phillips: This city and it's fans are going to be surprised this year, I know that no one is giving us a chance it being our first year, but all I can say to that is wait and see. We have put in a tremendous alot of work to get what we have, So when it comes time for the fall we will be ready.

Stay tuned for interviews with coach phillips as well as the top 3 of his players.

Re: My CAS Info

Now that C-A-S is in NCAA Football 2010, it is time for the new recruits of the Cougars to hit the weight room and field. Coach John Holbert has been trying to get his kids ready for the up and coming 2010 season. This is a first look at what he is going to have going into the 2010 season offensive and defensive starting wise. Many are freshman and sophmore, he does have some upper class kids though that have took on the Cougar Pride.

John Holbert took the Kingsport coaching job for the upcoming 2009 season. He is 44 years old, and has been coaching for 18 years. He has coached mostly highschool for his first 14 years, the past 4 years he has spent as an offensive coordinator at a D-III School in Minnesota.

FS:Quentin McGrew 6'2 210

That is how it stands as of right now for Coach Holbert and his Cougars. Coach Holbert has not yet decided whether he is going to run a 3-4 or 4-3 Defense. "There is still a lot of work to be done to prepare for the upcoming season, we got our guys, now it's time to get uniforms and a stadium so that they can go out and win championships in." Said Holbert in an ISBN Interview.

ISBN Report: Coach, how is the spring workouts goign fo ryour team?

Coach Holbert:They are going well, we have a lot of stuff to cover and go over. These guys understand my philosphy of coaching, so it is goign to be a good down the stretch, alot of them are young but we are going to work hard and see where it takes us when the season gets here.

Coach Holbert, Have you any information on uniforms or stadium yet?

We are going to be using the uniforms from before with a new logo update but the uniforms are going to be yellow and black that's all i can say at this point. We are saving this for the season opener so that the city of Kingsport willl have a surprise when they see them.

Coach Holbert and the Cougars are working hard to get back to where they were a few years ago. This is a very good team with alot of a+ quality players. We will be coming back to interview Coach Holbert and a few of the top players for the Cougars in a few weeks.

Stay Tuned as more info will be released as weeks leading up to the season opener.
