Re: Squib kicks?

To me this should be easy to put in. I don't need to pick the squib kick play in the playcall screen. Just let me set the kick height low or flat to the ground and I'll handle the power. How hard is that...every kick can't be popped up

Re: Squib kicks?

I have been asking for this for years, to no avail. I think they took it out because it was too easy to use as a cheap onside kick, especially online.

Still this should be in the game! In real life you would never kick the ball deep in certain times, or to a deep guy. Or if you are trying to kill clock etc. Come on and get with the times!

We did comment, as of right now it is clearly not in the game. Doubt it makes it this late in the development either.

Re: Squib kicks?

I'm going to be pretty disappointed if this doesn't make it in.

All that time on Season Showdown and you can't add something this simple of substance to the gameplay?

I doubt it's in, otherwise EA would brag about it. They won't even let something that small slip by LOL

Re: Squib kicks?

I seriously question the direction of the EA devs when they cannot add something like a squib kick. That would take absolutely no time at all and we need it in the game. Unfortunately, it is almost certainly not in the game as the video for Season Showdown shows Ben Haumiller kicking off and there is only one page with only two options: kick off, onside kick.

Bring back the squib kick, EA!

Re: Squib kicks?

box dont question it. they already talked about it. and the point brought up about it bringing more cheese to a game than good is why they took it out. they have the squib play in the book already and someone did comment on this in the fall that they looked at it and wanted to fix the squib if they could avoiding making it something that could be abused.
