hmmm I think he has a case for sure and I agree with him. Lets be honest they are doing what he said.

I believe that the players should get some money from EA if they are going to make their likeness in the game.

But this is coming from a former student athlete so take it for what it is worth.

That is your opinion.

Why should someone be allowed to make money of your likeness?

Also some of you sound like little kids getting a toy taken away by your parents.

What he is doing make sense and has merits.

Heh, I went to highschool with Sam Keller. I graduated two years ahead of him. Interesting stuff.

I believe someone has tried this before So EA and the NCAA have legal precedence. I would not lose any sleep over it. Besides even if they were mandated to have actual random players, the Community would step in and fill in what EA cannot.

I would hope this would get dismissed pretty quickly by a judge. When you think of it, the NCAA and EA are going to have lawyers that will eat Keller's for lunch.

Guess Keller has to find another way to make money since he has no hope of ever playing in the NFL.

There's always a first. A lot of people don't want to rock the boat. Others might get scared off by the lawyers that Dan @ISU mentions in the previous post. A lot of players are probably just like us, they think it's cool to have their likenesses in the game, they don't feel exploited. Sometimes it doesn't happen on the first try. Maurice Clarett challenging the NFL, that seemed like something that should have happened a lot sooner but as it turned out no one had enough incentive to do it until him (because he was ineligible to play either college or pro at the time). He didn't win, but maybe the next guy will. Anyway, I'm not saying Keller is going to win, but just because others haven't gone after this doesn't mean it doesn't have merit.
