yup any image on your computer. if the image is deemed offensive or whatever you probably have to set it to private so others can't download it and I don't think you'd be allowed to use it in online play, but other than that anything goes. and yes from what i understand once you upload your logo there is an eyedropper like tool that will allow you to select a color off your image to use as primary/secondary team color
