I'm not sure how much I will use the player lock camera angle on offense but I think it could revolutionize how we play defense. However, my expectations have fallen after seeing some of the videos. I think the camera view is too close to the action. If I can't see enough of the field I probably won't use it unless I'm a defensive lineman. It would be nice to be able to choose a zoomed out view. But I do like the fact that the view is catered to our player and not the cpu quarterback on defense.

What does everyone else think about the player lock camera system?

I love the idea. I'll definitely be using this a lot on defense.

I've always wanted a player lock in football games, so I'm excited about it. However, I haven't seen these videos you speak of. Do you have a link?

I think the Teambuilder videos by the XBox team showed some of that stuff. The videos I saw seemed to show a play from the traditional camera angle and then the same play from the player lock angle. I'm blocked from most of that stuff at work but I'll see if I can find it.

Does this video show any of that stuff?

naw it really doesnt, you should go back to the actual blog at look at some of the videos they have in there.....

i havent looked at them in some time, but from what i remember they used florida, and the player switched to brandon spikes and it was a normal camera veiw, like the offensive one but switched around.

Sorry. I can't access their site at all so I kind of guessed at that link from the Teambuilder thread. I'll have to check tonight at home.

I think it sounds like a decent idea they can use for ncaa 11.
