....06 that is. I saw on the XBOX website that NCAA 06 is the only backwards compatible NCAA title for the 360. Although I love Rainbox Six and Halo, I play video games for football and basketball. It's really sad that I'm still playing last gen titles to get my football fix (including 2k5).

Pasta mentioned in his demo impressions that there was no emotional attachment to the new game(s), and that's how I feel. I'll come check the boards after the release and after the promised patch, and see what you guys think. Til then, I guess I'll hang on to my $60.

Since I brought it up, anyone remember any glaring weakensses in 06?

Im not sure about 06....ncaa 05 was a bunch of interceptions and ncaa 07 had horrible pursuit angles and sorta bad interceptions....ncaa 06 I have no clue...

The deep ball was way to easy and the HB Direct is money.

impact players were supercharged, especially impact HBs.

Dropped passes.

IMO though, its the best NCAA game ever made & my favorite sports game of all time.

I never had a problem in 06 with dropped passes. Now 05 was a completely different story and I never had a passing game in 05 because of it.

Really? It seems that dropped passes are a huge issue in 06 for me, but outside of that the game is perfectly balanced in all areas...And for some reason, I can't even remember 05.. I know Larry Fitz was on the cover, but I honestly have no memories from playing that game.

nice find man. Imma go out and get this game too. I was about to re-buy a ps2 so I can buy madden and ncaa but decided it just wasnt worth it. I'll stick with my next gen systems and hopefully this game will take care of my last gen gameplay fix

***after seeing some videos of this game, current gen NCAA still cant come close to the presentation and gameplay that last gen had. Sad
