NCAA 10 vs 09 Video

I really don't know if I should buy this game or not. I like it but the pass rush should be better, I can't believe the rosters are a mess I thought it was a guy who just works on rosters. Not being able to complete rosters is really bad for people who don't have online.

Just a couple differences I have noticed between NCAA 09 and the NCAA 10 demo.

1. The Press on defense actually works.

2. WR's need a couple steps off the LOS to get up to full speed.

4. Pursuit Angles! This definitely is enough of an improvement to make NCAA 10 better than NCAA 09.

5. The Defense actually plays defense. It's not as Wide Open as last year.

6. The CPU makes adjustments on Offense and Defense as the game goes on even in the NCAA 10 demo.

7. On Heisman you can't just run around with the QB behind the LOS without penalty anymore. The DE's will keep you in the pocket.

Here is what I noticed playing both demos today:

1) It is the same game.
2) On Heisman, I scored on the first play using a Hailmary with the Sooners. Where is the defense again?
3) Speeds feel the same.


So for those who bought 09, did the updates fix the game slider problems for you? Just curious as maybe that is the way I should go since team builder means paying an extra $40.

the patches did fix some issues and I actually was able to play a few seasons, but IMO the sliders never worked like they should. Had little effect

But the only thing between 09 10 is. That 09 gameplay was a lot smoother the 10 is in demo is right now. It seems in the ncaa 10 the game play seems to more herky jerky and slow and sloppy. But the gameplay for 10 is good even with the slow sloopy herky jerky going on.

I hear ya, but the game has two pretty glaring issue at the moment, a Roster issue and a slider issue. Also we had to wait for a patch for the sliders last year, when these two issues should be working out of the gate.
