EA should team up with Rivals.com

This is true, with NCAA 2005 (maybe 2004), EA and Rivals reached an agreement, but the NCAA made them remove Rivals.com as well features like tearing down the goalposts.

also- keep in mind, Rivals/Scout are crap for those teams that don't have a high subscription rate to their service...(go look up the Memphis roster on Scout right now--link) right now the best rosters EA has in their update are the ones of the same 15-20 that Rivals or scout would cover in depth...so for low end and non BCS teams your quality of information would likely be about the same...

Thats one thing I didnt get. They took out tearing down the goalposts back then but put in the ability to negative recruit against another school.
