Comeback AI? Never seen it. With gameplanning and smart defensive calls you won't give up these mythical TD's right before the half. Instead of saying the CPU is cheating let's call it adjusting......

If your runblock is super high or you mess with gameplan blocking it's super easy to return kicks IMO. Also never kick towards the sideline, it seems people only play their lanes and won't move towards the ball, just my 2cents

Re: CPU becomes superhuman right before the half

It's the way pass defense is implemented in this game. Generally before the half the cpu is just trying to score and so they will line up in 4 or 5 wide and gun it. Problem is, defense in this game isnt properly done to just back up and play zone. I feel like i have to zone blitz all the time just have a chance at an incomplete pass. And by running a zone blitz, the cpu will of course get the pass off and the play will go for huge yardage. I feel like the only time I stop them is if I intercept the ball.

Defense in this game sucks once again. I shouldn't have to make all these adjustments preplay just to make a stop when it's obvious the cpu is gonna pass every play until they score.

I adjust the zones to loose, and the tackling to sure tackles. There is just a noticeable difference in the breaks the CPU gets prior to each half. Be it numerous broke tackles, timely penalties, turnovers, etc. I adjust my running to conservative as well yet I'll still fumble if the CPU needs the ball back. I don't mind a competitive game but not one where I dominate an opponent for 90% of the game.

I'm not saying you've never seen it, maybe its not an issue for you but if I'm playing Navy and can shut them out for 21 minutes of a 24 minute game but give up 19 points in 3 minutes I tend to think its something the game is doing more than its something I'm not doing.

Understandable, their could be reasons like sliders, gameplans and such that have different effects. Example, my tackling is higher because I like to work for my big plays. I never play zone (somewhere on here someone suggested they were broken, which I tend to believe) I man up everytime. Or maybe a person like myself loves playing defense than offense (Run the ball, Play Inspired Defense is my style). I mean their could be several different possibilities why this happens, but I have yet to see it this year. Their has been moments where I've yelled bs but not anything that makes me lose sleep about. Hopefully it'll never happen, but then again if it does I'll be right here with you guys, as long as it doesn't happen against tOSU, then I'll write hate mail to EA, lol, jk

Re: CPU becomes superhuman right before the half

Not sure if you guys are new to the NCAA series, but this have been in the game for several years. It's especially true if the CPU is getting the ball in the second half. It's not a good time to gamble, just play solid defense and make the key stop. It's usualy one or two key plays and the CPU will fold. Also Clock management is key.
