Playing time Promise.

If I make a promise to a recruit that he will get playing time, and he Slots for me, will this be playing time?

I had virtually everyone who I promised playing time too last year transfer no matter what I did with them. I haven't even bothered to try it yet this year. I think I tried having them as a slot WR last year and they left. I think you basically have to start them. Someone said you put them 1 on the depth chart and then move them once the game starts and it didn't happen but I don't know that for sure.

too bad height plays no factor in the game what so ever. A 5'8 WR is the same as a 6'7 WR.
