Re: History of Formation Subs?

I think something that would be more useful than formation subs would be allowing the user to create their own packages. It would accomplish the same thing, and you'd be able to have multiple sets of subs for the same formation.

To expand on that, I'd also like to see being able to first select a "dummy" formation that you could shift out of. So maybe you select your 5WR package for the I Formation, then shift into an empty backfield Shotgun formation.

Add a play/formation creator to this and you might finally start to feel like a coach in this series.

Its funny we get all this cool recruiting ability but the team that we actually put on the field we have little to no control over. Strange way to approach a video game.

Fatigue subs would be nice too. I've never seen a DT play every defensive snap until this year.

hopefully it'll be in next year, I really miss it, especially on special teams.
Testing what is testing? I have never heard of that concept

Re: History of Formation Subs?

It's time that one of the EA/Tiburon team members comes out on this site and says "guarantee... NCAA 11 will have formation subs come hell or high water." The uproar this year was massive and if NCAA wants to show some good faith and win some of their fans back... we need to know they are listening to us.

Will an EA developer come on and answer this challenge.... No... I realise this but I am still gonig to ask because it really angers me to see how far my favourite series has dropped. I need to know the NCAA development team is committed to making the most realistic college football game ever. Right now, I don't believe they are... actions speak louder than words EA!

EA, and specifically the NCAA team, should stay away from talking or even mentioning testing.

The more hours they say they are testing the games, the worse I feel, because this release of NCAA and Madden have to be 2 of the buggiest sports games released.
