So, I have had someone do it to me before at the end of the first half and I ended up missing the field goal, but I just tried to do it to someone else and it didnt work. Am I missing something? You just call a timeout when they come out for a field goal at the end of a half right?

I thought it only worked during the last 2 minutes of the game or something...

I've used it successfully at the end of a half or game once. The CPU has tried to do it to me several times but only ended up burning 2 or 3 timeouts. Either it doesn't work correctly (add it to the list) or there are some specific circumstances needed to make it work, like final X minutes or seconds of the half or game and the attempt has to be either game tying or game winning. What does the manual say about it? Oh wait...never mind.

I'm pretty sure its within like the final minute of a half.

I've called 2 timeouts on a field goal with 2 seconds left with a tie game and it never iced them. It's definitely a broken feature, since it's never worked for me or 3 other people I play the game with.

It also depends on the kicker, if the kicker is good or is having a good game it will not affect him.

I think you have to do it after they start the kick meter as well (while it's on the upswing). Hard to do against the CPU since you have no idea when they will start to kick.

hmm ive tried it multiple times inside 10 and 5 seconds to go in the first half of close games (dont think i have ever needed it in the end of a game) and it never worked so i thought it was completely broken, but then the other day someone did it to me at the end of the half.
Im like 99% sure my kick meter was not going when he called the time out. I remember last year it worked fine.
