How much should freshman ratings be lowered to stop hyper-progression?

Okay I just got the game and I've read through all the progression/offline dynasty threads...It seems that the super progression/too many good teams peaks in 2013 and 2014 when the default roster's freshman are seniors. So my question is, how much should I lower all the freshman in order to combat this and attempt to keep team grades down? Is 10 points overall enough? Or should it be more like 20? Thanks a lot for any input!

It is not just the freshmen. It is also incoming freshmen too, from recruiting. Adam said they lowered all incoming freshmen ratings before the game came out, but apparently it did not go through.

Lowering the FR on the initial roster doesn't solve the problem, because new recruits come in ranked higher than they have been anyway. Someone's doing an entire roster reducing all the FR, and it's probably going to cause a lot of problems, because in season 2 recruits will come in ranked higher than 80% of the FR on the initial roster, making them borderline useless. Maybe I'll be wrong about that, we'll see.
