Just to provide a little more detail here is the text from a post I just made on Utopia:

Given the nature of patches we had to find a different way of getting progression down; which is why it took so long, and the lack of comments around it until we knew it was possible (don't want to say we can do something until we know we can).

Long story short it takes progression down across the board, while trying to keep seasons 6+ from getting too low (as opposed to too high like they were). Mainly has to do with the differences in the prestige of the teams with a small change to the potential bonus... I'll see if I can't dig up the numbers we had in running the sims, but I'm sure you'll have someone posting those soon too!

The desync fix should take care of the game mode disconnects and hopefully a few other really rare ones.

Holy freaking crap, progression is fixed. After the 1 million page thread we had on this issue there should be a lot of happy people. That is... if anyone is still playing it. I know that I am very very very excited about this.

yeah that just threw a curve ball but they kept it real quite maybe for if they announced it everyone would say "No Fatigue! Booo!" or "When is it gonna be released! I want it NOW!"

I'm going to sim 5 years ahead and post the letter grades of the teams.

My first recruiting simulation showed my school (5*) have an average progression of 3.06

Min: 1
Max: 6 (only 1 person)
