PS 3 - Game Freeze

I'm sorry if this has been addressed in a previous thread. I have not been able to find anything on it. I have also posted this in the 'Bugs and Glitches' thread. Sorry if this shouldn't be posted here. I don't use this forum much and wasn't sure the appropriate place for it.

I am having a terrible problem with mid-game, or even end of game freezes. I can't begin to count how many times I have been mid-game and had the game lock up, forcing me to reboot the system and start over. I've just about had it.

I had hoped the download of the 1.03 patch yesterday would have addressed this ... but low and behold, the first game I attempted to play (In Dynasty mode) froze midway through the 2nd quarter.

As noted, its on a PS3 ... has happened with both 1.02 and 1.03 patches ... its an OFFline Dynasty, and I have not imported any custom sounds (Which was the only thread I could find that addressed game freezes.)

Is this a widespread issue, or is it something specific to my particular set up? Anyone have any suggestions for avoiding or eliminating this problem
