I have a subscription to EGM, so hopefully I'll be getting the August issue sent to me soon. For the most part, I trust EGM's reviews. Given that it won the game of the month award is certainly encouraging.

why would you care about what someone thinks of the game.

These guys have no lives, the review games, most of them aren't even sports fans. They can give it a 1.5 and it won't change my opinion, they don't know about what people want.

That's why "gamers" "Fans" should play the game and review it. I'd listen to one of you before some cupt up nerd who never seen a football.

I'm not saying I blindly trust and follow EGM's reviews no matter what. But the reviews give me a "general imppression" of what I might expect from the game. It's true they don't address all the pros and cons of a game. However, if they score a game a 1.5, chances are it's a pretty bad game. Likewise if they give a game a 10, chances are(more often than not) the game is pretty good. Just my two cents.
