This year's NCAA will be waaaay better than Madden!

When you see gameplay for NCAA the animations do look much better than madden and things seem much smoother. However i think this is mostly because NCAA is ahead in development. That being said, I can't possibly see How EA would let NCAA have better gameplay than madden.

I think that NCAA may trump Madden this year as well. I made a similar post a couple weeks ago about the same thing.

As long as it is somewhat close to Madden I will be quite happy. I think I played all of one or two games this year of NCAA. It felt the same as Madden 09 did. This year I do not think that will be the case, because there are things new this year that weren't in Madden '10 (locomotion, ESPN presentation) that will make this game feel more fresh and new when it comes out IMO.

This is the most excited I have been in multiple years, and being that I prefer college football over pro, I hope it does beat Madden.

Yeah, I have been think the same thing. All my focus has been on NCAA this year, I have barely thought about Madden at all.

Hmm..I may just have to go pre-order this game today. Sounds very promising. I didn't know some of the former 2k guys are working on NCAA now. Nice!!

I don't buy a word of it. Ben and Russ are still the guys in charge, and central gameplay is still the same team. Not that I have anything against Ben and Russ, just saying, I seriously doubt some 2k guy came in and reinvented the game by replacing the staff.

Beyond that, I seem to remember 2k's attempt at college football. If that's what we're getting, I'll just stick with NCAA 10.

2 totally different games so the comparison doesn't make sense...
In any case for me NFL > NCAA so I'll be getting Madden for sure and we'll see about NCAA.
