Re: NCAA 2004 Slider Discussion.

Ok, I just finished a game. I was Houston on the road against Tulane. I won 24-14. I was ahead 14-7 at halftime.

Mewelde Moore for Tulane had 16 carries and 68 yards but also had 5 catches for 78 yards.

Anthony Evans for my team had 14 carries and 112 yards. I was able to break containment twice.

I was 12-26 passing, Losman (TUL) was 17-26 with 2 TDs and 3 INTs, although two of his picks were thrown on Hail Marys. I only had one sack and they had none because I was using a short passing game. I did throw an INT.

So anyway, these are the sliders I used for that game:

OFFENSE

CPU

QBA - 12
Pass Block - 13
WR Catch - 13
RB Ability - 14
RBlock - 16

HUMAN

QBA - 10
Pass Blcok - 10
WR Catch - 13
RBA - 13
RBLk - 13

DEFENSE

CPU

Awareness - 10
Knockdowns - 10
INT - 8
Brk BLK - 9
Tackle - 8

HUMAN

Awareness - 10 (I may lower this back to 9)
Knock - 10
INT - 10
BrkBLK - 9
Tackle - 8

SP. TEAMS

CPU

FGL - 10
FGA - 7
PL - 10
PA - 10
KOL - 11

HUMAN

FGL - 10
FGA - 7
PL - 10
PA - 10
KOL - 11

I feel pretty good about these for me right now. I may tweak down my Human Aware to 9, but other than I don't see any glaring needs for me. If anybody tries them out let me know how they feel.

Re: NCAA 2004 Slider Discussion.

No I still didn't see any misses, but I'm kinda afraid to go much lower on FGA. I would hope that a 7 FGA would have a big effect on FG's from 40 + yards. I didn't kick any from that deep with the slider yet, so I still don't know for sure.

Re: NCAA 2004 Slider Discussion.

i'm booting 50 yard ones pretty easy on 10, so it's a good chance you can hit 40's with it at 7

Re: NCAA 2004 Slider Discussion.

Here are my sliders, i play 8 min qts on AA:

CPU:

Offense
QB Acc-12
PB- 16
WR Cat-10
RB A- 16
RB B- 18

Defense:
AWR-17
Knock-10
Int- 10
BB- 11
Tack-10

Special Teams:
default xcept FGA-9

HUMAN:

Offense
QB Acc- 10
Pass Blk- 13
WR Catch- 12
RB A- 12
RB B- 13

Defense:
AWR-15
Knock-10
Int-10
BB- 11
Tack-10

Special Teams:
default xcept FGA 8or 9

-all penalties maxed xcept holding +1, unsportsmanlike conduct +1, and facemask(default)

with these sliders on a 8 min qts, each team has been getting 55-60 plays per game, but there isnt alot of scoring because of the defense of both teams. Both teams seem to get anywhere from 60-150 rushing yds per game and about 150-300 passing yards per game. pretty good stuff.

Re: NCAA 2004 Slider Discussion.

What do you think 7Words? Should the FGA go down to maybe 5?

Btw, thanks dereliched and future420 for posting your sliders.

Re: NCAA 2004 Slider Discussion.

7 sounds good, haven't tried it at that level yet, but i think if it goes lower, that will probably be too low IMO.
