No FCS teams confirmed

Quote:
Stuart (Santa Barbara, CA) [via mobile]: Will all 120 FBS schools be included in NCAA 11? How about any FCS schools that had been included in previous editions?

Aaron Boulding: All 120 FBS will be there. As for FCS you'll have to go to Team Builder for that experience. There are already 500,000 Team Builder built teams out there. If you have the time you can add your entire high school's section if you want.

Not too surprising really...

Re: No FCS teams confirmed

There was some confusion in the tcu pic if those where indeed pro combat uni's and whether they are confirmed to be in. That question was asked and cleared up in the 3rd question!

Am I the only person that is not bothered by this?

I understand why people want them in but am not overly concerned with it.

Just like I am not concerned with dreads...

I think the better solution is for them to allow teambuilder teams to be used in dynasty without replacing FBS teams. So you can insert a bunch of FCS teams and the cpu and your team can schedule them.

That would be great, just like the PS2 days. Now we have to replace a FBS team and I don't want to do that. It's not a good option.

Re: No FCS teams confirmed

I would be perfectly content with the option to schedule a game against say FCS East and then on game day be able to import a TeamBuilder team to play against instead. That way it would be a one time thing and the other 120 teams wouldn't be affected. The FCS team could still be generic players but at least the uniforms, logos, name etc could be real.

i can see where you are coming from by not bein concerned with FCS teams because im not either but i dont understand why anyone who cares about realism and equipment would not want dreads in the game...i also dont understand y EA didnt put dreads in the game when they put name brand cleats and all those great accessories in, dreads should have been in that same sentence and implemented at the same time...

And I totally see where you are coming from. It's not that I "don't want" dreads, it just doesn't bother me.

I like the idea mentioned above of being able to import TeamBuilder teams for "FCS East" during a franchise. That would be great.
