Getting the pump fake work in NCAA 2004 (Xbox)

Perhaps it's just me, but the pump fake only seems to work about 50% of the time. I should clarify my first sentence. When I press the right analog stick in, my QB will sometimes pump fake and many times won't. Someone in another post said that it's a great tool in terms of passing and while I agree it is, it's frusturating when I want to use it and can't. Anyone experiencing this problem as well?

if memory serves me you dont press it in. you flick it. watch the ncaa 101 passing video. they go into detail there.

you don't press the analog stick, you pull it in the down direction. Like was said before, watch the offensive NCAA 101 vid. You can also move the left analog stick left or right as you pull down on the right stick to pump fake in a particular direction.
