I think EA might have to pay to release patches over Xbox live or PSN. I could be wrong though. It's the first I've heard of it but according to the one post it would make sense that a company would decide not to release something that would cost them money.

That really sucks. Xbox Live, PSN and EA should be ashamed. I've never had to pay for a patch to fix a broken PC game. Wow, to me that seems ridiculous.
