My favorite was 2006.

I had a blast playing that game. Dynasty, online, Race for the Heisman, etc. All were fun for me.

This year hopefully will be. But right now, I think I'd have to say 2007. The momentum was really neat and made games feel real - any play I could go from getting spanked to scoring 21 the next quarter and winning the game. I remember one game in particular where I couldn't do anything against Iowa as PSU, but then I believe I got an INT and maybe a pick six at that, and the momentum swung in my direction - I went from losing something like 21-3 to dominating the rest of the game and winning 56-21. It felt the most real of any football game I've played. Any team had a chance. NCAA 08 was pretty similar to 07 I guess but 07 was first so it was more of an experience. I would play them now but, Sony in their infinite wisdom removed backwards compatibility by the time I got a PS3.

Agreed. The slowdown on the Xbox version of NCAA 2005 ruined it.

I really liked 2006 for Xbox because it just seem like you would break peoples ankles something serious, and the celebrations were pretty nice as well.
