Partially. It went downhill fast after Price left to coach Bama (which never happened).

Wazzu and fun don't go together unless you're talking about the crazy parties. (full of overweight farm folk) which I guess doesn't make that horrible school in that horrible town any fun.

Wazzu was barely a powerhouse in Mike Price's 14 seasons they won 3 bowl games and never won a rose bowl. The best player to come out of there was Drew Bledsoe, then Marcus Trufant, and then who? Quite a factory they had back in the day. To say they were underrated b/c they played in Washington would be wrong. During that same span where WSU was "great" UW won 2 rose bowls and a national championship. In 94 UW was the catalyst to bringing the end of "The U" when they beat them in Miami.

sucks. I like em though. I remember like in the early 2000's they had a QB or QB's (i4got) who would constantly throw for like 4,000+ yards

Yea I remember a story about a night at a strip club, and a stripper that followed him to a hotel room.... Not something that exactly flies in a bible belt state.

There's a couple UW guys on here but none as cool as me. I just love the chance to remind coug fans who's daddy. Mostly to cover up my own inadequacies, but yea I lived on that side of the mountains for a year and hated it so that's partially were my venomous attacks come from.

Really the only thing WSU has on us is that they beat us in our 0-12 year when in reality that were still 1-10 (beat portland state which is an FCS team).
