my gamestop (in North Little Rock, AR) is having their usual midnight release - confirmed yesterday.

I asked a guy at my store last week (New Port Richey, FL) and he said they were. I'll check again on Sunday or Monday, though.

Normally midnight releases depend on the store. I know there are two within a couple miles of me and only one of them has a midnight release each year.

The gamestop employee may of just said that EA wont allow them to do a midnight release just to make sure that customers don't throw a temper tantrum.

Midnight releases do vary by area and I think that for certain games its up to that individual store if they are going to do it or not.

gamestop has to have 50 reserves of a game to do a midnight usually and ncaa is just not that popular compared to madden, so there are plenty of game stops that will be doing a midnight just not all of them like madden, cod, halo, god of war etc..

If Gamestop chooses to not do a midnight release that's fine by me but, for EA to tell them they can't thats a no no in my eyes. Don't tell me how to run my business.
