They give the game to journalists because they care about sales and not being sued. Thats why they leave the roster problem up to the customer.

Yep, and if you don't think lawyers against EA in that suit wouldn't find out about it, you would be in the wrong.
I disagree with the OP anyway, waiting one week, more or less, really isn't that big of a deal. Usually that's my "warm up to the new game" time anyway and working with slider configurations before I dive into dynasty mode. Maybe that's just me, though.

As the cliche goes, it is what it is. Roster makers won't get the game early from EA, it just won't happen.
