Hey for you guys with the game, can you tell me what happens if you try these moves while holding turbo button (assuming that auto turbo is off).
I hope that it will make you stumble or even fumble.

Re: Dual Stick Running Controls Explained

What have people found to be most successful with this? When I have someone in front of me coming from the side, I'm having success leaning forward and away from them, ducking the tackle. When someone is coming from the side, I'm having success leaning INTO them and breaking the tackle. Very cool system, and very realistic, when I lean into them and get my momentum going through them they have more trouble making the tackle.

I have had no success with the new way of spinning though.

With the spinning you have to make sure you doing a smooth circle motion with the stick. Personally I start off at the top of the stick when I spin. The direction you spin = the direction your player will spin. So make sure spinning away from the tackle and not into the tackle, which I find myself doing sometimes.

Really? I thought you would want to LEAN away from the tackle, then spin into the tackle when they go for the lean.

No you lean into them and spin away.

So if you running right and got a LB coming from the left, you northeast on the right stick and the player will dip his left shoulder & twist his backside towards the LB, having the ball facing the right sidelines.

With a good size back you will easily break that tackle without losing momentum. With a speed back, you would want to dip and spin as soon as the defender gets close enough.
