Re: Best player you've played with ?
I'm in year 7 of an NC State dynasty, and my first year as a six star school I recruited a ridiculous 5* WR, 6'4, 190, 92 spd, 90 acc, 86 agi. He came in as an 83 ovr. I redshirted him, then gave him lots of love as a freshman. His sophomore year, he was rated 91 ovr and was my #1 WR. I had neglected recruiting WRs a bit so that I could rebuild my defense, therefore, I basically had no one else to throw to...so I threw to him and only him all season long. He was so much fun, I swear, I could throw up a lofted pass to ANY route he ran, and he would go up and get it 95% of the time (the other 5% were interceptions, haha) His stats are so ridiculous, I wrote them down so I could share them with my brother. It's...not even anywhere in the ballpark of realistic...but it was certainly fun.
Quintin Payton: 161 catches 3109 yds, 38 TDs, 222 ypg, 19.5 ypc
He won the Heisman, the Maxwell, Receiver of the Year, and the Walter Camp. He also broke every single NCAA single season receiving record.
The stats were so ridiculous, I had to see how much of my passing offense he alone accounted for. So I went and looked, and I passed for 4177 yards...which means he accounted for 74% of my aerial offense. ALMOST 3/4ths! Ridiculous. This kid really was a blast to have though. Normally I try and keep things as realistic as I possibly can, but that season I decided to try an experiment, and it was a lot of fun.
