HELP!! I need help stopping the run!!

I'm the type of guy that throws 3 times a game and runs the rest of the way. But I just got beat at my own game. Guy was running 46 defense and run blitzing the whole game. He had all his backers in the gaps and even put one outside the tackle box towards my strength. I'd have a guard pulling and a full back out in front of me and one of his backers would slip underneath the entire time. I ripped off a few good plays but it didnt make a difference. As far as his offense he ran dives and would bounce them out, I never had anyone on the outside to take care of him. I tried a few different things but he kept getting the long run on me. Countering his over aggressive defense? tried some screens tried a few play actions but the backers he had in the gaps were getting to my qb so fast the plays never had time to develop. Going back to the drawing board! Holler at me if anyone has some good tips for countering such an aggressive D. My guess is just hurry to the line faster.
