what is "player performance" feature I read in the manual?

I read this in the manual, but how do you see it in the game? How do you see who has added performance points, etc?

Im not sure but it sounds like youre referring to the player momentum gauge. Which changes in game. If a player makes a big play then the gauge changes to an orange and continues until its gold. If a star player makes a big play while the guage is gold or orange then the players around him will gain momentum. In game press RT and tilt the right stick down to check the guage. It could be the left stick im not sure.
