I think college football has the 2nd best collective uniforms of all sports second only to the NHL which has a high number of beautiful sweaters. If I were to pick some of my favorites I'd go with tride and true simple concepts like Penn State, Alabama, Oklahoma and the like. I love uniforms, I'll just list my favorite from each conference.

ACC: North Carolina, Va Tech
Big 10: Wisconsin/Penn State
Big East: UConn, Syracuse
Big XII: Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas A&M
CUSA: SMU, Marshall
MAC: Temple, Ohio
MWC: San Diego State, BYU, Wyoming
Pac-10: Arizona, UCLA, Stanford
SEC: Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss
Sunbelt: North Texas
WAC: Utah State, Boise State, Idaho, La Tech
Independents: All three have great uniforms

Nebraska
UCLA

But my all time favorite uniforms have to belong to Ohio State. Nothing can beat seeing the scarlett and gray on Saturday afternoons in the fall.

Ain't nothing Scarlet and Grey about Ohio State's colors. Get into this argument with an OSU alum at work all the time about this.

Their colors are RED and SILVER. Grey does not sparkle as much as silver does. Their helmets are silver not grey. at one point they were grey. they are no longer grey anymore.

I gotta agree about Texas. Those are some fine unis. The Burnt Orange is a great color that you don't really see much of anywhere else in sports, and the helmet looks great with that simple longhorn silhouette set against the white base. Thumbs up.
