How about they just contineaously add to the game every year, instead of taking key things out like in season progression, and then trying to hype the game the following year, re-introducing it as a "new feature".

i still dont understand why you'd take this out of the game.. it's been amazing feature for years and allowed lower rated players especially younger starters to blossom based on performance..

Aw, come on man! Players don't get any better when they practice or play games in real life! They only get better during the offseason, sometime between January and August when they get their little "you've improved" letter in the mail. Only then, when they rip open the envelope in hurried glee, do they find out how much better they're going to be, and to remain for the whole season!

That's real life, baby!

What else should we expect from people who don't care about building a realistic football game when all they need to do is build a sellable game.
