recruits commiting to a school without scholarship offer?

I've seen a lot of my recruits commit to schools that haven't even offered them a scholarship. I'm playing with Navy, and I had a QB commit to Alabama without a scholarship offer and no visit. I don't think that a recruit should be allowed to commit to a school without a scholarship just because he's 100% interested in that school. I'm sure there are 1000s of kids that are 100% interested in going to Alabama but they are not going. Does this make sense at all?

I didn't see that post. So the CPU really does offer them when they commit, but it just doesn't show it. That makes sense I guess.

Yeah I too think the CPU just offers them in the week they commit and unlike most of our signed recruits, the offer isn't sitting there visible for weeks before they take it.

I'm not sure of the exact answer so I just pointed you to that thread bc thats the answers I got when I asked a few weeks ago.
