Is it just me, or does the game play differently after each dynasty season?

Before I started my dynasty, I had my perfect slider set in effect. I played through the entire first season with Penn St. and everything was great. Each game was solid and I even lost two games.

I am just starting season 4 now and I have to say - It's like after the first season it all goes to hell. I played 12 games with no issues, now I've been back to changing sliders again.

Even though my defense improved a lot, I still can't stop 74 overall QB's from shredding me, or 73 overall RB's from breaking through my 90+ rated LB's.

So, after 24 games, it seems like it's just a crapshoot.

The same goes for my offense. With the worst line I've had in 4 seasons and an average RB, I am just wrecking teams. Before when I had a great line and a great back, I'd be fighting hardcore to get a 1,000 yard season.

Has anyone else noticed the game playing different in different seasons, or am I just reading into this too much?

I agree with you 100%. My Wisconsin dynasty has turned into pure mayhem.

Season 1- undefeated with a National championship
Season 2- Played in the Rose bowl and got punished by USC
Season 3 - Can barely win a game. I'm currently 1-2

I'm in season 2 of my VT dynasty and I have to agree. Marshall's QB lit my *** up...I couldn't stop them and I barely won 30-28.

Was the first season before the second patch came out? My dynasty certainly seemed to play a lot better before the second patch and tuner set arrived.

i like the new challenge after the patch and tuner set and im SJSU. close games are fun

No, I actually waited to start until the 2nd patch arrived. Wish I could say that was the cause of this mayhem, but sadly no.

I was actually having more close games before the second patch and tuner set, or at least more close games that didn't feel "cheap."

for some odd reason, i put all my sliders back to the default and know my dynasty is going pretty well
