How many people have tried this?
I was looking for a low-tier team with some potential and a Pro-style playbook and decided to use them. I'd say it's looking good so far. They've got a lot of decent talent at the skill positions (QB, HB, WR), but unfortunately they're all seniors and it's a little weak after that. I switched the defense to a 4-2-5 and it's looking promising. Just keep in mind that the O-line is pretty weak (mostly 60s across the board), but it's not going to be as big a deal against the Sun Belt competition.
As far as recruiting, you're in Florida, so you've got that going for you. Plus, a lot of people don't think about it, but they've got Schnellenberger as coach and director, so you've got an A+ at coach experience, B at program stability, and C+ at coach prestige. Only other things lower than a C are TV exposure and conference prestige. Plus, if you're good enough, you get a shot to knock off UAB, Michigan State, and Texas your first year.

Well i haven 't done a dynasty yet this year.
Years before i would try to play as Temple , Eastern Michigan and Western Kentucky .
It really is not tough to play as weaker team.
Just play with a mindset of ball control offense and a defense that will leave the offense guessing of what they will do next.
