THINGS OBSERVED POST LTP3
-*-In Season Progression works with New and Old Dynasty Files. (360) But it is not as abundant as EA intended.
-*-CPU Signing Logic needs work. CPU will still have 7+ qb's on roster
-*-Extremely Low Number of Transfers after first couple seasons. Maybe up it to fix the hoarding of players.

Hey guys I am running some simulations to get some raw data to look at for LTP3.

They really did a nice job improving the 1 and 2 star recruits. One of the gripes around here was that all the bottom and mid level teams never had any stars on there team. From looking over it now they have thrown in 4-9 gems into each group. This is great because it mimics real college football in that there will be players who exceed expectations (2 star who turns into an All-American) or those who were a sure thing that just flop (4 star HB who just cant cut it). I am 3 years into getting 7 or 8 years of data but so far here is what ive seen with the recruiting class breakdowns by start ratings.

No worries. You are the man with the cool tool. And you were more willing than I to get a larger sample size.

I do have to say it nice being able to see all 2600 recruits info at the click of a button. It's uses go far beyond a simple recruiting tool. It can find flaws and some amazing work done by EA.

It's alot easier to prove or disprove a problem with data than just simple observation.

Wow! Looking at your chart, it's clear that they've completely gone away from the 40 OVR floor. Also, tightening up the average delta between 2 and 3* players is a nice, welcome, and realistic change.

Think about it: What might differentiate a 2* from a 3* player in high school ball is maybe a couple of plays in a season, or an extra win for his school. That whole "Bull Duhram" bar scene speech comes to mind...

Anyhow, it'll be interesting to see how rapidly the incoming freshman class leapfrogs the current freshmen on a lower tiered school. With in-season progression returning (albeit incremental steps) it will now make more sense to cut some freshman and play the seniors in your first dynasty year. Why bother trying to progress slower progressing guys?

In my opinion, it looks like they need to trim up the minimums for 1* and 2* recruits. A bad 1* player should be around 50. Anything less and it's just an embarrassment and they shouldn't be able to play college football.
