The best playbook to simulate Nebraska is FIU. It had plenty of spread option plays but also has a few pistol formations (yes, they do run some pistol).

The two huge runs by Helu in the first quarter against Mizzou were out of the pistol. So you guys saying they don't run it would be wrong. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=5746312 very first play in the video proves it.
