Its especially ridiculous when you go to schedule a visit the first week you can for a prospect and he gets smart with you about not scheduling it sooner.

If you want to try something funny... offer a guy a scholarship, then cut him from your board. Pick him back up (scholly will be gone), and offer it to him again. You'll get zero points, and he will say something like 'I guess everyone needs to have a backup school'... I did this on a guy that was SOFT COMMITTED. Kinda funny...

Reason 65 as to why I could never be a college football coach.

I could not take 2 minutes of any smart mouth kid. Or go into a home and beg some kid to play for my school.

I love asking the kid if a championship contender matters and they say No.

You do not want to compete at that level? This isn't Duke...I am asking you to come to Texas. If that does not matter than go play somewhere else.

Same with Pro Potential. I do not have time for part time players.

I do not care if they have 9 stars...if they have these as low I drop them from the board.

I find the real life signing day to be hilarious. Interviewing a bunch of awkward 18 year olds who have just spent their 2-4 years of recruitment being told that they're the best thing since sliced bread.

They stutter through interviews, do the fake hat pick move, talk about being the man at their school of choice....pretty entertaining.
