Correct Overtime Ruling? Or Glitch?

This has happened to me a few times in NCAA 10 (my Xbox died AGAIN and I had NCAA 10 for PS3), but the other way around. I get the ball first, score, and then get the ball again, run one play, and win. Once it happened it 2OT, the other time it happened in 3OT after I failed the 2pt conversion.

That's a situation where restarting the game is acceptable.
