Yes...and honestly, if they did add it, I don't think ALL of it should be user controlled. For example, if you recruit a player with low disciplne, then he should make some boneheaded plays. Let's say you're making a tackle, and one of your CPU teammates come over to help, and then in comes a late guy coming in to add an extra lick...15 yard penalty...or let's say you have two linemen blocking each other, maybe there could be an animation that triggers in which they continue to shove each other after the play....things the user can't control that add a little spice to the game and give you that "WTF" feeling as a coach.

Illegal touching comes to mind

Yes. Along with that penalty they need to add:

-defensive holding
-illegal formation(allow us to move multiple players at a time)
-def/off pass interference

Hopefully with the "new" interactions holding will also be a natural motion and not some forced lame butt one arm block, because the defenders random juke move.

With illegal hits though, I will get ticked off if they call them the same way they call roughing. I.e. your player slowly walks and brushes against them, forcing the K/P to act out an over-dramatic fall.
