Can someone tell me how to back out? I would appreciate this.

I don't think you can opt-out of it. I played three seasons of dynasty last year before choosing my team and still got the points for performance and sportsmanship and stuff. Picking a favorite team just assigns you to that team and you get loyalty points if you play with that team. Not sure what it does if you don't pick a team though. I agree...I don't like it but I've learned to ignore it. In that sense, I could be wrong on my first sentence...
