Revo speed 2 bar QB...where is it!

I don't even look at the helmets, but if a helmet starts being worn by a large section of players then they should try and get it into the game.

A decent amount of QBs both in college and NFL are wearing the revolution speed helmets such as the one Jay Cutler wears. It does seem that EA waits a year or 2 before adding new helmets on purpose. They continue to keep ones that are no longer worn or never have been such as the LT facemask.

Anyway to find out what new helmets/facemasks have been added this year besides the ION that Penn State players wore 2 years ago and the revolution speed helmet that Troy Polamalu wears?

Both of these should be in this years game but I have doubts based on history.

The Schutt Air Xp is in the game. Like the one shown on Barkley. That and the new ION is all I've noticed from the screenshot. I really wish they would get rid of the standard or whatever they call it, the one with the giant stripe that sticks out going down the middle. I haven't seen a college player wear one of those for more than a few years. For some reason I care WAY too much about equipment, haha.

I don't know why but I care way too much about equipment as well. It adds a great deal of realism to me but each to their own. I know some guys on here who could give a rats about equipment, but from what I've seen in some videos they've added a good amount of new equipment.

Yeah, for me it's about the realism. I mean, if the game doesn't play good that's a problem too. Not to offend anyone, but I didn't see not having dreadlocks being a big deal. I completely understand though, I'd rather have all the helmets, and they want hair. Although I would love to see a mullet in the game. Lol

MrCub the helmet with the ridge on it should be taken out of the game soon. At least it would make sense. It is the basic Riddell helmet (VSR4) that the NFL just tested and it doesn't come close to meeting concussion requirements. I would also call it the "least trendy" helmet out there. I don't see it sticking around in real life much longer.

About the VSR4, they should leave it in, but make sure new recruits are never generated with it. I'm sure guys who make throw back teams would like to still have the VSR4 in, just help the look, a bit.
