Whats Your NCAA Football 2012 Release "ritual"

Well the last two years.....

- Get game and begin the long journey of completing the rosters with the other members of the comunity team.

- About half way through, I ball up in the corner and begin crying complaining about lack of sleep and asking myself why I agreed to do rosters.

- Finish rosters and celebrate for five minutes.

- Throw a virtual middle finger at the messages I get saying how much the rosters suck.

- Smile at the messages I get saying the rosters are awesome.

- Play my first play now game followed by starting a Penn State dynasty.

- Realize there's a ridiculous glitch that won't be fixed until the patch comes two months later.

- Finally start enjoying the game around September

We'll see how things go this year lol.

The last four years I've been lucky to get the game at least 2 days early and at most a week early.

Once I get it I go home and check out the rosters for Notre Dame and see which guys missed the cut and which guys EA Sports made the wrong race haha.

This year though I have a good feeling I'm going to be spending hours developing my playbooks to use for my dynasty when the rosters come out.

Well since we can't use named rosters again for RTG, i will start RTG first and see how far I can get until named rosters are released, then begin a dynasty when the rosters a complete.

I am sorry but what do you mean you can't used names rosters in RTG?

I have had the same ritual for the past 5 or so years.

1. Go to bed at roughly 10pm the night of release
2. Get up at 6am with my brother and go buy NCAA 12
3. Notre Dame(him) vs Washington(me) home and away
4. Random teams against eachother
5. Steps 3&4 take hours, so take a break and eat
6. Play RTG (especially since you cannot use custom Rosters)
7. Make topics on OS and other Gaming websites for anyone who wants to play Online
8. Play random cheeser after waiting an hour on Step 7
9. Swear to never play online against randoms again

Then I just spend hours on Teambuilder trying to make the perfect uniforms for my teams. I wait until they have the corrected ratings roster to start a serious dynasty with my brother.

He is talking about real named rosters. You can still use Generated named rosters. But cant have any Andrew Lucks or LMJs.

I am not sure whether to get it Midnite or wait until the morning. I am not even sure if the gamestop near me is doing a midnite release. If they do, I dont think it will be packed or have to wait in a long line at all. I wouldnt really play it, but I would be able to at least start my Custom Playbook.
But realistically, I will wait till the morning.
1. Check all the menus
2. Setting changes and possible Stadium Sounds
3. Custom Playbooks
4. Upload a TB team and Playnow game
5. Add/delete plays
6. RTG

If I was to go to the midnite release, I would be able to do the 1st 5 things at night and then start RTG in the morning

I look everywhere around where I live if I can get a copy early, usually with no luck. If that doesn't work, I just go pick it up at midnight wearing my Longhorns jersey and head home and play for the rest of the night. Online Dynasties will be set up the next day(usually). I check out the default roster for my team and usually rip it to shreds and ask myself continuously if EA even watches college football and all this other stuff to make me feel better about whatever I'm angry about.
