I'm sure you've seen it; I think it's been in the game for 4 years running. Your opponent fumbles, you pick up the ball, run it back for a touchdown and at the bottom of the screen you see it gives credit to the wrong player for the score.

For example, Smith fumbles the ball and Jackson picks it up and scores and at the bottom it says "Smith 23 yard touchdown run".

I believe this also happens if you intercept a backwards pass (i.e. option pitch) and return it.

I think, but don't remember for sure, that there was an error in the stats too.

Same thing with penalties on kick offs.

My favorite was always, on 4th and 16 (or any 4th and long), trying to block the punt and accidentally jumping offsides early-- and he says "Offsides, on the defense, 1st down" as the bottom changes to 4th and 11. lol
