Freezing after 1st downs

I'm playing Texas A&M @ Texas Tech....and every time Texas Tech gets a 1st down, the screen freezes for 3-5 seconds...

It's extremely annoying and making me nervous...

Any one else having this problem?

I was HOPING that I was the ONLY one having this problem so I could blame it on something other than the game itself, but I've played 2 games since I bought it and noticed the same thing.

After a big play usually, the game freezes for 3-5 seconds. It also happens when I try to do no huddle. I was waiting on posting about it until I saw someone else having the same issue, then I could confirm that it was something on EA's end.

Sigh.

Oh and I'm playing on PS3 if that matters.

Yep it's happening to a lot of people. It's definitely the game. FYI I am on the 360. Report it in the bug thread.

If the patch was the thing that took like 2 minutes to download, then I downloaded it....so I dnk what to do....

This really sucks...

EDIT: This is ONLY happening for me when the CPU has a 1st down. Then they score a TD or run a play that's not a 1st down, it doesn't freeze. I've encountered no freezes as the user also.

I've gotten this freezing as well as the end of the game freezing as well when the game's rolling through the lengthy automatic highlights... i literally almost cracked my CD in half with this because the entire progression i've made on my dynasty is all gone.
