Sounds like we got TMart's ratings ironed out fairly well, and I would agree.

As for the offense, I am going to run a version of what I believe the offense should be, rather than what the offense will be. Same general idea, power rushing from the gun, still utilize a few TE's (Reed split in the slot) but I will use more spread formations and pistol.

I have been traveling so I don't have my hands on right now but I am going to go with all flex/wing gun formations, plus some Ace gun formations. A few Pistol looks and then I will have to decide if I want an under center look. Some I triple option would be a nice throw back.

The big thing for me is simplicity and now knowing that you can't reorder the formations in custom books, I'm going to have to limit some of my gun because scrolling through that many gun formations in random order would be brutal.

Ya, I am doing the same. I used LSU as my base *had to remake mine* putting like 4 I forms, SG flex formations and a couple pistol's, and strong close. So far so good.

For those of you who are waiting for the best roster set, Martinez speed was raised a little bit to 85, but still probably not enough.

It makes no sense to me that Denard Robinson is a 95 speed and Martinez was only 82!

This is what I plan on doing with the Husker roster when I get a good set of named rosters. I tend to over rate them a bit (especially the freshman), so I may take a few ratings down before then since ratings seem to be a little lower overall this year. It's a work in process so some of the guys in red may be added in place of others before then. For example, I've read (from very imformed people) different opinions of who will be starting on the OL. By the time the first game rolls around I should have a very accurate roster though.

Can you post this on my Nebraska rosters thread... They need some help..

Do you just have Neb rosters named or do u have all the rosters done?

Re: Nebraska guys! (in-game discussion on the Huskers)

Wow, been a while on this thread. Just personally waiting (patiently) on Gator and Block's rosters to drop, so we can really adjust from there, if needed.

Burkhead is definitely a beast in my practice dynasty though. The leading Heisman candidate after 5 weeks (800 yards, 12 TD's). Definitely going to need to be shopping for some sliders with the roster drop as well.

Re: Nebraska guys! (in-game discussion on the Huskers)

Are you using the default Nebraska playbook, Spooky? What kind of play calling are you going with, running the ball?

I've had little to no success running out of the pistol or shotgun, more specifically read and standard option plays. I know if I line up under center and hand the ball off to Rex 20-30 times a game, I'll get him over 1400 yards. I just don't really want to make Nebraska a "pro" style offense. I want to line up and run the ball 50 times a game. No way will I enjoy passing with this game's defense.

I'm not even that cognizant of what offense I'm running yet. I didn't really play the game last year, so I'm just getting back in the groove of which plays do what, etc.

I've mostly been pounding the rock out of the default I-Formation that we have on our playbook. I really hate our playbook overall in the game. I'm not sure what I want to do with it. I know it won't be correct with our actual offense, but I definitely want to do more lining up and pounding it straight forward with T-Mart under center, as opposed to working primarily out of the shotgun.

I've found it next to impossible to do zone-read plays out of shotgun on this game, so that is a big part of the offense that is basically dead to me from the get-go, unless some killer sliders can fix it.
