Schedule (whom to fight and why)?

Hi all, this is my 1st NCAA and because its so diffrent to Madden and Headcoach I need some advice. So you can customize your schedule, but whom should I fight, stronger, even, weaker Team, an enemy from a special conference, a rival and why ? Oh and about recruiting, is there any real chance to get a guy who doesnt have you on his top10 list ? I mean, I have no clue how many points I m behind. I really appreciate any advice, not only for this two topics.

Schedule as many FCS games as possible. it's the trick to moving up.

Top 10? no, not unless he hasn't been offered a scholly

depending on how good the school's pitches are that you are using and who is above dictates whether u can get a guy that doesnt have you top 10, if you have alabama and ur competing against the mac and sunbelt you might catch them, if you have FIU and your chasing Notre Dame and half the SEC u may wanna try someone else but, generally outside the top 10 you're better off trying to find a different guy to recruit, as far as schedules I try to get 1 or 2 big time OOC opponents, a small in-state OOC, and then a mid-level bcs conference team or if you have a non conference rival ( Georgia vs Georgia Tech, florida vs miami/Florida st ect) i would put them as the 4th non conf game

For schedules i always try to schedule the toughest opponents for NIU because playing in the MAC the teams arent too good so i have to schedule top 25 teams in order to help my team move up in the polls
